The Heavens Pass Away and the Earth Also

The events of the Scriptures below will occur AFTER the Millennium and AFTER the battle of Gog and Magog.

Re.20:11 And I saw a great white throne (Re.7:10), and him that sat on it, from whose face THE EARTH AND THE HEAVEN FLED AWAY; and there was found no place for them (Dan.2:35, 2 Pe.3:10-13 below).

Dan.2:35 Then was the IRON, the CLAY, the BRASS, the SILVER, and the GOLD, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, THAT NO PLACE WAS FOUND FOR THEM: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. (Re.21:1 below)

2 Pe.3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which THE HEAVENS SHALL PASS AWAY with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, THE EARTH ALSO and the works that are therein shall be burned up (Re.20:11, Dan.2:35).

2 Pe.3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

2 Pe.3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervant heat.

2 Pe.3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for NEW HEAVENS and A NEW EARTH (Re.21:1 below), wherein dwelleth righteousness.

A NEW Heaven and a NEW Earth

Re.21:1 And I saw a NEW heaven and a NEW earth (Isa.65:17, Re.21:5): for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away (Re.20:11, Dan.2:35, 2 Pe.3:10-13 above); and there was no more sea (Dan.7:3, Dan.7:17, Isa.66:24).

Isa. 65:17 For, behold, I create NEW heavens and a NEW earth (Re.21:1 above): and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
