Who are the Two Witnesses?

Let us make a comparison between the two witnesses with the saints of the most High -

The Two Witnesses

1. The two witnesses will receive God-given power.
2. They will have this power for 3 ½ years (Re.11:3).
3. After they have finished their testimony, after the 3 ½ years of power, the beast will make war against them, and he will overcome them, and he will kill them (Re.11:7).


The saints of the most High

1. War will be made with the saints of the most High (Dan.7:21, Dan.7:25).
2. The mighty and holy people will be destroyed (Dan.8:24).
3. Those who do not worship the image of the beast will be killed (Re.13:15).
4. It will take 3 ½ years to accomplish to scatter the power of the holy people (Dan.12:7).


The end time prophetic message that John is to prophesy again is a bitter/sweet message, which, in God’s good time, will be prophesied before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings (Re.10:9-11).

The bitter part of this end time prophecy is that the saints of the most High (Dan.7:22), the church of God (1 Cor.10:32, Gal.1:13), Jesus Christ’s living body, those called to be saints (1 Cor.1:2, Ps.37:28), will face the tribulation under the beasts/kings of Revelation 13. They are those blessed (Re.14:12-13) who come to the 1335 days (Dan.12:11-12) prior to the Seventh TRUMPET (1 Thess.4:16-17, 1 Cor.15:52, Re.10:7, Dan.12:6-7) ascension.

The Jew in Christ through faith and the Gentile in Christ through faith (Rom.5:1), having become one body (Eph.2:16), the living body of Jesus Christ (1 Cor.12:17), have BECOME, individually, as well as collectively, the church of God (1 Cor.10:32).

I conclude that the church of God are the two witnesses.

The two witnesses will be given God-given power (Re.11:3) and will prophesy John's bitter/sweet message (Re.10:9-11), the scripture of truth (Dan.10:21), for 1260 days (3 1/2 years). When they have finished their testimony, AFTER the 1260 days, the beast/king that ascends out of the bottomless pit, will make WAR against them, he will overcome them, and he will kill them (Re.11:7).

The war (Re.11:7, Dan.7:21, 25) will conclude with the last two of the church of God (1 Cor.10:32), the two PROPHETS, being slain at the beginning of the last week prior to the ascension (Re.11:8-12, 1 Thess.4:16-17).
