Seven Trumpets GIVEN and PREPARE to Sound – Re.8:1-6

At the Seventh SEAL heaven and earth have witnessed the Sixth SEAL appearance of the Lord with power and majesty (Re.6:12-17 below).

Directly after the Sixth Seal, at the Seventh SEAL, Seven TRUMPETS are GIVEN (Re.8:2 below); the seven angels are “prepared” to sound (Re.8:6 below).

Trumpets cannot sound until Trumpets are GIVEN to sound.


Sixth SEAL

Re.6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the Sixth SEAL, and, lo, there was a GREAT EARTHQUAKE; and the SUN became black as sackcloth of hair, and the MOON became as blood (Acts.2:20, Joel 2:31);

Re.6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth (Matt.24:29 above), even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

Re.6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and EVERY MOUNTAIN (Ps.104:6) AND ISLAND WERE MOVED OUT OF THEIR PLACES (Isa.2:19).

Re.6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains (Isa.2:19, Isa.13:7-8);

Re.6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us (Lk.23:30) from the face of HIM THAT SITTETH ON THE THRONE (Isa.2:19, Lk.21:27), and from THE WRATH OF THE LAMB (Re.6:17 below):

Re.6:17 For the GREAT DAY of his wrath is come (Re.6:16 above, Joel 2:31, Jer.30:7); and who shall be able to stand (Lk.21:36)?


Seventh SEAL

Re.8:1 And when he had opened the Seventh SEAL, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

Re.8:2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them WERE GIVEN seven TRUMPETS (Re.8:6 below).

Re.8:3 And another angel came and stood at the altar (Re.6:9), having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

Re.8:4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints (Re.8:3 above), ASCENDED UP before God out of the angel’s hand.

Re.8:5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

Re.8:6 And the seven angles which HAD the seven trumpets PREPARED themselves to sound (Re.8:2 above).
