The saints of the most High will face the tribulation under the beasts of Revelation chapter 13, which will conclude at the Seventh TRUMPET (1 Thess.4:16-17), the ascension. The earth will have been reaped (Re.14:16).
Gentiles (1 Cor.10:32), who know not God (1 Thess.4:5) and have no hope (Eph.2:12), will come against the saints and kill them. (Dan.7:21, Dan.7:25, Dan.8:24, Re.12:17, Re.13:7, Re.13:15, Re.16:6, Re.17:6, Dan.12:6-7)
Gentiles will remain upon the earth after the ascension to endure the Seven Last Plagues (Re.16:1).
Armies of Gentiles will be gathered together to fight the battle of Armageddon against The Word of God and His armies (Re.19:13-14).
Zechariah 14:4 (below) is fulfilled directly after the battle of Armageddon and will mark the beginning of the Millennium.
God will spare one-sixth part (Eze.39:2 below) of Gentiles (heathen) who will go into the Millennium to re-populate the earth (Re.20:8). It seem to me that the one-sixth part (Eze.39:2 below) would be the “ye” at Zechariah 14:5, below.
During the Millennium, The Word of God (Re.19:13) will rule all nations with a rod of iron (Re.12:5, Re.19:15).
Immortal saints, Christ Jesus' wife (Re.19:7), will live and reign with Christ on earth throughout the Millennium (Re.20:4).
Jesus' wife are God’s glory set among the heathen (Eze.39:21 below).
Eze.39:2 And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:
Eze.39:21 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.
Zech.14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which [is] before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, [and there shall be] a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
Zech.14:5 And ye shall flee [to] the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, [and] all the saints with thee.
