The temple of God

I believe that the temple of God, which the false prophet is to sit showing himself that he is God (2 Thess.2:4, Dan.11:36-37 below) is not a physical structure/building.

I believe that the holy city Jerusalem, itself, IS the temple of God (Acts 17:24 below) of the sanctuary (Dan.8:11 below), Israel.


2 Thess.2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing HIMSELF that he is God (Dan.11:36-37 below).

Dan.8:11 Yea, he (the little horn - Dan.8:9, Dan.7:8) magnified HIMSELF (Dan.8:25, Dan.11:36-38, 2 Thess.2:4 above) even to the prince of the host (Dan.8:13), and by him (the little horn) the daily sacrifice was taken away (Dan.9:27), and the PLACE of his sanctuary was cast down (Dan.8:13, Dan.11:31).


Dan.11:36 And the king (Dan.7:8, Dan.7:24) shall do according to his will; and HE SHALL EXALT HIMSELF, AND MAGNIFY HIMSELF above every god (Dan.8:11, 2 Thess.2:4 above), and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and SHALL PROSPER TILL THE INDIGNATION BE ACCOMPLISHED: for that that is determined SHALL BE DONE (Dan.7:21, Dan.7:25).

Dan.11:37 Neither shall he (the king) regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: FOR HE SHALL MAGNIFY HIMSELF ABOVE ALL (Dan.11:36, 2 Thess.2:4 above).


Acts 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

The Ark of the Covenant

I believe that the “ark of the covenant” (Heb.9:4 below) and “the ark of his (God’s) testament” (Re.11:9 below) are one in the same, and contain the “tables of the covenant” (Heb.9:4 below), the Ten Commandments.

I believe that the ark of the covenant/the ark of his testament is now in the temple of God in heaven (Re.11:19 below).

At the Seventh TRUMPET (1 Thess.4:16-17), the temple of God is opened in heaven to reveal the ark of his testament (Re.11:19 below).

And, again, at the GIVING of the Seven Last PLAGUES (Re.15:1-8), “the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened” (Re.15:5 below), wherein is contained “the ark of his testament” (Re.11:19 below), “the ark of the covenant” (Heb.9:4 below).


Heb.9:4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein [was] the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;

Re.11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

Re.15:5 And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:
