Ezekiel 37:12-25 – A Study

Eze.37:12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

Eze.37:13 And ye shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,

Eze.37:14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall you know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.


Eze.37:15 The word of the LORD came AGAIN unto me, saying,

Eze.37:16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take ANOTHER stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and [for] all the house of Israel his companions:


One Stick = For Judah and the children of Israel (Jacob’s sons) his (Judah’s) companions.

Another Stick = For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his (Joseph’s) companions.

Judah and Joseph two of the twelve sons of Jacob/Israel.
Ephraim the second son of Joseph (Gen.41:52 below).


Eze.37:17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand (Eze.37:19).

Eze.37:18 And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou [meanest] by these?

Eze.37:19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which [is] in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, [even] with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.


Join BOTH sticks into ONE stick; the one for Judah and the children of Israel (Jacob) his (Judah’s) companions, and the stick for Joseph and for all the house of Israel his (Joseph’s) companions.


Eze.37:20 And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.

Eze.37:21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

Eze.37:22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel (Gen.13:17, Gen.15:18, Gen.28:3-4, Gen.28:13); and one king shall be king to them all (Eze.37:24-25): and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:

Eze.37:23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

Eze.37:24 And David my servant [shall be] king over them (Eze.37:22, Eze.37:25); and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them (Mal.4:4).

Eze.37:25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, [even] they, and their children, and their children's children for ever (Gen.13:17, Gen.15:18, Gen.17:19, Gen.28:3-4, Gen.28:13): and my servant David [shall be] their prince FOR EVER.


In the “new” earth, Israel will live in their own land (Eze.37:14), and they shall dwell in the land that God gave to Jacob (Amos 9:15), where their fathers HAD dwelt (Gen.13:17, Gen.15:18, Gen.17:19, Gen.28:3-4, Gen.28:13); and they will dwell therein, THEY AND THEIR CHILDREN, AND THEIR CHILDREN’S CHILDREN for ever, and David shall be their prince for ever (Eze.37:12-25).



Twelve Tribes of Israel/Jacob

Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Joseph (Gen.41:51 below), Naphtali, Zebulun, Issachar, Dan, Gad, Asher, Benjamin


Gen.41:51 And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, [said he], hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father's house.

Gen.41:52 And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.



Jn.10:16 And other sheep I have (Isa.56:8 below), which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, [and] one shepherd.

Isa.56:8 The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather [others] to him (Jn.10:16 above), beside those that are gathered unto him.

One-Sixth Part of Heathen will go into the Millennium

God will spare one-sixth part (Eze.39:2) of the heathen to go into the Millennium; they will re-populate the earth; their numbers will grow as the sand of the sea (Re.20:8).

The heathen are Satan’s children; the heathen had worshipped the beast; the heathen had killed every last one of the Righteous.

Satan, the heathens’ father, has been bound in the bottomless pit for the duration of the Millennium, which I believe will subdue, to a degree, the true nature of the heathen, and Jesus will be ruling them with a rod of iron throughout the Millennium.

I believe that once Satan is released out of his prison to once again agitate his children the true evil nature of the heathen surfaces so that they will once again attempt to destroy the, this time, immortal Righteous, the saints of the most High.

Daniel’s Statue REPRESENTS this Earth

What we are seeing when we look at the Daniel 2’s statue of kingdoms beginning with the head of gold and progressing to the feet of clay is this earth.

The earth and the heaven flee away from God who sits on the great white throne (Re.20:11 below).

The iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold are broken to pieces. The wind carries them away that no place is found for them (Dan.2:35 below).

These heavens and this earth shall pass away (2 Pe.3:10-12 below). We look for a new heavens and a new earth wherein dwells righteousness (2 Pe.3:13, Re.21:1, Isa.65:17 below).

The event of the Scriptures below will occur AFTER the Millennium and AFTER the battle of Gog and Magog (Re.20:7-10).


Re.20:11 And I saw a great white throne (Re.7:10), and him that sat on it, from whose face THE EARTH AND THE HEAVEN FLED AWAY; and there was found no place for them (Dan.2:35, 2 Pe.3:10-13 below).

Dan.2:35 Then was the IRON, the CLAY, the BRASS, the SILVER, and the GOLD, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, THAT NO PLACE WAS FOUND FOR THEM: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. (Re.21:1 below)

2 Pe.3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which THE HEAVENS SHALL PASS AWAY with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, THE EARTH ALSO and the works that are therein shall be burned up (Re.20:11, Dan.2:35).

2 Pe.3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

2 Pe.3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervant heat.

2 Pe.3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for NEW HEAVENS and A NEW EARTH (Re.21:1 below), wherein dwelleth righteousness.


A NEW Heaven and a NEW Earth

Re.21:1 And I saw a NEW heaven and a NEW earth (Isa.65:17 below, Re.21:5): for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away (Re.20:11, Dan.2:35, 2 Pe.3:10); and THERE WAS NO MORE SEA (Dan.7:3, Dan.7:17, Isa.66:24).

Isa.65:17 For, behold, I create NEW heavens and a NEW earth (Re.21:1 above): and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

This “Paranominal” website speaking on the subject of the Shroud of Turin and asking for comments from visitors to their site declared the post  below“spammy.   Paranominal”  makes a false accusation but does not give one an opportunity to contact any person preferring to hid behind the fictional veil.

The Shroud of Turin

John 20:5-7 (below) does not depict that Jesus was laid in the sepulchre in a SHROUD. Jesus was laid in the sepulchre in linen CLOTHES. Separate from the clothes a NAPKIN that was wrapped about Jesus’ head lay in a place by itself.

Based upon the Scriptures, I believe the shroud imprint is not that of Jesus.

It is interesting to note that Jesus’ earthly grave clothes did not enter into eternity with Him.

Jn.20:5 And he stooping down, [and looking in], saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in.

Jn.20:6 Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,

Jn.20:7 And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.

The Seventh Trumpet occurs AFTER the Tribulation

When a “rapture” is referred to many refer to 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. The events referenced in those two verses occur at the CONCLUSION of the "tribulation" under the beasts of Revelation chapter 13.

The church (1 Cor.10:32 - Jesus' living body, Col.1:24) will face the tribulation under the beasts of Revelation chapter 13.
